Ordering a custom championship belt for the first time? Here is what to consider before you choose your specs.

Material: Brass vs. Zinc

Brass gives a warm, classic gold tone and is our most popular option across all thicknesses. Zinc is a denser, heavier metal that holds finer etching detail and gives the belt extra heft — a good choice for a more premium feel.

Thickness: 2mm to 4mm

Thicker plates mean deeper etching and more durability, but also more weight. 2mm and 3mm brass belts are lighter and more affordable; 4mm plates (in brass or zinc) give the deepest, most dramatic engraving.

Layers: Single, Two, or Three

Single-layer belts have one plate per section. Two- and three-layer belts stack plates for a taller, more elaborate centerpiece — the look most associated with major title belts.

Etching

All of our belts feature etched detailing, so your logo, text, and artwork are cut directly into the metal rather than printed, for a design that will not fade or wear off.

Packaging

Belts ship standard, or you can add a presentation suitcase for $30 — a popular choice for awards, retirements, and gifts.
